Leadership Strands
Learning in the Principal Residency Network program will follow leadership strands which will be introduced at the beginning of the program and continue throughout the year. There will be periods of emphasis for each strand during which time students will focus more deliberately on and study in greater depth the learning objectives for that strand. All state and program competencies for preliminary administrative services credential and an MA in Education Administration will be addressed but they will be addressed using both traditional and non-traditional modes of delivery. Evidence of competency in all areas will be demonstrated through a final portfolio of the Aspiring Principal’s work; university and college credit will be given through College of Education course designations.
