The success of the Pilot model has generated a great deal of interest in starting Pilot Schools.  In Boston, new Pilot Schools are currently in the process of being formed and approved.  By 2009, at least 7 more Pilot Schools may be created in the BPS, increasing the number of schools to at least 26.  Outside of Boston, school districts across the state and country are interested in replicating the Pilot model, and several have begun the process.  As your school or district considers Pilot Schools, the information in this section of the web guide will help get you started.
